.50ct Faint Blue VS2 Round Brilliant Diamond Halo Ring
You probably already suspected this, but there is an emotional side to my job – the job of buying diamonds. When I saw this Diamond, I was immediately enamored with it because I spotted the blue.
Having said that, it's not a blaring blue – the color is hard to translate into a round brilliant cut diamond – because it's so bright anyway. So sometimes bright white almost looks like blue. Still, I see blue. Does the Blue Fluorescence help in this regard? Not exactly, the blue I see is special.
The stone is so brilliant and I can see the blue. If you can, you're bound to love it too.
The Ring
In looking at the description I wrote about the loose diamond above, it occurred to me that I ought to make it clear that not every person that looks has seen blue in this diamond. About 69.39% have seen the blue (I made that number up, but let's just say more people have noticed the color than not.)
Now that this blue diamond is set, it is the same. I see the blue tint immediately, but is it subtle. We used light pink diamonds for the halo, and I am pleased with the results.
It is an Uber ring all the way. The quality is just so. Super delicate looking 1.65mm hand forged platinum shank.
It's a very special piece that shows how great things can come in small packages.
