5.55ct M SI1 Emerald Cut Diamond

I fell in love wtih this emerald the moment I saw it, despite any flaws. Let's address the flaws to get that out of the way. The first is the clarity - SI1. In some of the pictures it is very obvious to see the imperfection. In others it just kind of blends in - which is how it is in real life. In this case a the black pinpoint is much better than a white crystal

Next, the stone runs a bit deep so it does not face up as large as it could. However, the stone's cut allows for the color to hide. This does not look like an M colored diamond, but more of a J color. The stone is also quite substantial, no matter how you look at it.
