.76ct Fancy Light Yellow VS1 Pear Shape Diamond Halo RingThis is a stunning pear shape diamond. We fell in love with this stone the moment we saw it. The shape of this pear is perfection. It has the perfect "tear" shape to it that is very organic in feel. The cut is wonderful on this stone. It is full of amazing sparkle. There is no visible bowtie on this stone at all. The color is beautiful - a vibrant shade of yellow. The clarity is a very clean VS1. The Ring This is a really cool the way the center pear shaped diamond works with the micro pot of fancy light yellow diamonds. They highlight and accent each other. Of course, from arm’s length, it just looks like a larger yellow pear shape. The ring is beautifully finished and feels very smooth to the touch. The prongs are very secure. The shank is made from a piece of 1.8 mm extruded gold wire. This process involves forcing metal through smaller and smaller holes still, it compresses to the shape of the wire. This means it's a very strong piece of metal. That's the reason you can have such a narrow shank, and still have a ring that can be worn daily.
