.78ct J VVS2 Cushion Cut DiamondWhat is a “brand” in diamonds? Sometimes there is a tight range of appearance. With Diamonds by Lauren, our brand is all about each and every stone, and individual characteristics we find attractive. We buy directly from cutters that we have strong alliances with. Buying in the quantities we do allows us a lot of advantages - we can afford to be very selective. The cutters come to appreciate what we are looking for and actually seek us out when they have special stones. As opposed to most Diamond websites that have lists of diamonds belonging to other companies, we offer diamonds we own. Carefully selected diamonds available here, and nowhere else on the web. In this case, one of our guys is doing some wonderful square-ish cushion modified brilliant stones. We select the stones we ultimately offer to you based on many factors. Cut quality is an essential element. My perspective allows for a wide range of appearance in cushions. These stones have small tables- and trim girdles. The shapes are really great for rings. The stones display exceptional light performance as well. I also look for value stones - sometimes SI clarities - other times lower colors. We try to offer beauty and value in every cushion we offer. This one is slightly rectangular and a little bit chunkier in its optical performance. We still have the lovely small table and some sort of reminiscences of an old diamond – but it is modern. VVS2 clarity which you have to love. Well, you don't have to, but if you do, here is one. As a J color, there is a slight warmth to it in some lighting environments – at other times it looks quite colorless. J color represents a great value if you like the way it looks – and many people do. The Ring This style represents one of the mos popular pieces we make.
