Here's a really nice looking yellow diamond. In person, it's a lovely light lemon yellow shade. It's not vivid yellow, but you'd never mistake it for a colorless diamond. It's a very difficult diamond to photograph. This is due to the Fluorescence. In person, you don't notice it- the photos seem to emphasize it to my eye. In the two photos directly below I think the color shows a little better.
I love the cut on this stone. It's very lively- total sparkle- bottomless pit kind of thing. Plus it looks quite large for a .85ct- you might guess 1.10ct. I'd be tempted to call it a cushion- GIA terms it a "Round Cornered, Rectangular Modified Brilliant" .....which looks somewhat like a squarish cushion
This is a custom made platinum and pink gold ring. I'm very proud of the quality- and the color! Our pink metal is so very pink. The diamonds come from one of the world's largest cutters of fancy colored diamonds The combination of colors is gorgeous. The bright pink next to the yellow diamond makes for a beautiful spring like combination. The white diamonds set in platinum gives a lovely contrast. This is a truly amazing setting with a gorgeous stone that will turn heads for sure. This ring has a beautiful presence on the finger!
