.76ct Fancy Light Green VS1 Radiant Cut Diamond

We did not buy this stone because it is rare- we purchased it from the cutter because it is truly lovely.

The color green in diamonds sometimes yields a diamond that looks quite blue. That is the case with this stone. I really does look blue. The grade of "Fancy Light Green, Natural" is quite lofty - pure green diamonds are so very rare. It is a square radiant - truly well cut for a stone of this color. The sparkle is amazing, and is a factor in how nice the color looks.

The stone looks quite large for it's weight. You could easily mistake it for a 1.00ct based on its size. So in terms of appearance, I was sold at first sight.

Still the rarity is a very cool aspect as well. The color grade, combined with a VS1 clarity, no fluorescence means you will not see many other stones with this sort of pedigree.

We will likely set it surrounded by pink halo. From experience, I can tell you this stone will look amazing once we set it.
