This is a diamond that shows how some stones can transcend their grades - even though the grades are totally accurate. Put another way - some L I1 diamonds look, and perform nothing like this one. Take the L color.

In a few lighting scenarios, the color is clear - it was actually pretty hard to get this photo.

The medium blue fluorescence is to thank for that.

Then we have the fact it is an I1 diamond. In this case it is due to widely dispersed "twining wisps" - in this case they are hard, if not impossible, to see with the naked eye.

In terms of brilliance, I really don't foresee someone buying it being disappointed with the sparkle.

It is a lovely diamond. Period.

Also it is a lovely diamond at a great price. Much more affordable than many other stones that do not look all that different much of the time.
