1.01ct Fancy Intense Yellow SI1 Pear Shape Diamond

Here is a really nice priced Intense yellow pear diamond. Pear shapes are more rare than cushion or radiant, and generally command a higher price in Fancy Intense Yellow.

This is a really well cut pear shape. I say that due to the lovely shape - organic teardrop shape.

In terms of the sparkle, it is a great performer edge to edge - no bow tie. It has great vsual size for a one carat.

In this case, it is a bargain stone due to the SI1 clarity.

There is an imperfection that reaches the surface - at the edge.

You can see it at about 11 o'clock in this photo - it will be overed by a prong once we set the diamond.

Bottom line - the way the stone is cut hides the imperfections that you might be able to make out in these photos. In person the diamond is eye clean.

I would say the stone is at least 20% less than a VS intense yellow pear shape, so you a're getting a great value here.

The stone is going to look amazing once we set it.
