1.07ct Fancy Yellow VS1 Cushion Cut Diamond

This is a truly well cut Fancy Yellow Diamond. How do we judge cut quality on Fancy Color Diamonds? I would say this stone has excellent light performance when you consider how even the sparkle is - no large dark areas,but a massive amount of small bright reflections.

In person it's got a perfect "crushed ice" look. This is optimal performance if you want even color. Nice to see the EX/VG in polish and symmetry as well.

The color itself is very strong. I would rate it 7 on the 1-10 scale between Fancy Light and Fancy Intense Yellow. The faint fluorescence is a non issue with this particular diamond. Totally eye clean VS1 Diamond.

The stone is a no excuses Canary Diamond.
