Normally we do not purchase yellow diamonds that possess fluorescence. Why? Well, there are number of reasons.

1) People who purchase on the Internet tend to ascertain their information from the Internet. A common problem we encounter is that much of the online information published about diamonds on the Internet is done so without context.
Basically, it's much more convenient to make a simple statement: florescence is bad, florescence is good, fluorescence is your aunt Nelly's underwear.
The truth is, that it is much more complicated. Sometimes florescence can actually be a positive aspect to a yellow diamond. Sometimes it can be a negative aspect.

5) This diamond is a VVS to clarity. Let's go back again to Internet-based information – being a VVS clarity does not necessarily make a diamond more beautiful. But, it does make it more desirable to people have read and believe that information.

The truth is, clarity is only one aspect of what makes a diamond desirable. And, a diamond can have imperfections and still be beautiful.

However, as a GIA graded VVS2 clarity, this diamond has virtually no imperfection.
