2.08ct Fancy Light Yellow I1 Cushion Cut Diamond RingI love finding great looking I1 diamonds. In this case, it is my grade- the cutter elected for GIA color only report. The I1 is a very good one, in terms of appearance. It is the type of imperfection that simply blends into the sparkle. The imperfection poses no structural risk. The color is a strong Fancy Light - about 60% of the way to Fancy Yellow along the scale. A great looking cushion always gets my attention. Nice cut on this one- even sparkle and color. Of course the whole point of an I1 is price- and this stone score incredibly well on that test. The Ring This ring makes a statement. There is a lot going on- and you just want to keep on looking at it. The pink/yellow contrast is amazing. The center diamond looks so nice. It looks like a Fancy Yellow. In terms of clarity, now that it's set, if you really try, in certain lighting you can see the imperfection. However most times you can't see it even if you look hard.
