When I saw the stone, in the tray with a bunch of others, it immediately caught my eye. I love the shape, the natural light yellow color, VS two clarity, and of course the awesome price. Upon examination if the report, I noticed GIA graded the diamond Fair Symmetry.

The reason is that on the bottom (pavilion) of the diamond there is a facet that's larger on one side than the other, but this has no effect whatsoever on the face up beauty of the diamond. That is why you are looking at it here. And the photos do tell the story. The stone has remarkable sparkle from one edge to the other. There's nothing asymmetrical about the outline or the shape.

The diamond represents great value for this invisible "defect" saves you about $100 on the diamond.
