.93ct Fancy Light Yellow SI1 Cushion Cut Diamond Ring

I am very sensitive to a yellow diamond's fluorescence.

In my experience, a higher percentage of Medium or Strong Blue fluorescent yellow diamonds show detrimental effect, as compared to colorless diamonds. When I see a stone I really like with fluorescence I will consider it if it's got something special.

This stone has a really nice cut - totally eye clean SI1 and a very attractive price.

The Ring

I love this ring! This setting is modern, yet classic all in one. The diamond is set in a double bezel. This creates a "faux halo" of sorts adding great visual size to the ring. The bezel is beautifully done - like liquid metal. The over all finish of the ring is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch.

What I love most about this particular ring is the fact that we chose rose gold for the bezel on this yellow diamond. The effect is stunning. It provides a contrast to the center stone that just has it set apart. It also adds more of a golden hue to the diamond than the bright yellow you usually get. We chose to not outline the shape of the cushion and instead give it a more geometrical shape with works perfectly with this setting.

The ring is very well made. The shank is substantial, yet extremely comfortable to wear. The ring is designed so that it will fit flush with a traditional wedding band. The design also allows for a great deal of light to enter through the pavilion letting your stone really shine!
