.96ct S-T SI1 Pear Shape Diamond Halo RingOne of our favorite cutters finished up a couple of light yellow pear shapes - with good color. This is one of them. There were no GIA reports. I never thought they would get Fancy light Yellow - but the color is distinct yellow. Enough so that when we submitted them to GIA for Dossier reports, they initially told us we would have to go for a full report because they were fancy colors. I gave the go ahead and agreed that we would pay the price - about triple - if the diamonds came back Fancy Light Yellow, or deeper. I was surprised they came back S-T - expected at least W-X. No problem - they're worth about the same anyway. The prices for these colors are about as low as you can find a sweet looking one carat. I love the organic teardrop shape, and the cut characteristics are really nice on this one. Eye clean SI1. The Ring This is a great style for many reasons.
