| Orange is quite rare in diamonds. Here we have one which is not a pure orange- rather, it's Yellow- Orange. This does a few things: 1) Makes the diamond cost less than one quarter what it would as a Fancy Intense Orange 2) Give the diamond a chameleon-like quality. Sometimes it looks almost peach colored. Other times it's more...golden orange..? I've never seen another quite like this one. COLOR The color is rated by GIA as "Fancy Intense". One step below the ultimate grade, Vivid. This diamond is awfully close to Vivid, in terms of intensity. It's fluorescence is unique. The Yellow and Orange working to give you a unique light show all day long. CLARITY VVS2- Extremely clean and clear. You could search for quite a while with a 10 power loupe and not see the minuscule imperfection which garnered this guy his VVS2 CARAT WEIGHT At 1.06carats it's a bit larger than a one carat diamond. CUT The photos give you a very good idea about the general outline and shape of this pear. I love the shape of this diamond. From a sparkle standpoint, there's tremendous fire. The fire is not limited to one area- the entire diamond throws off flashes of bright color. The diamond also looks like many a carat and a quarter pear shapes you'll see- nice size!
