Natural Light Green Chameleon Diamond
GIA Report
item R2631
Green
is one of the rarest colors in diamonds. This one has a lot of subtle
undertones- even the green itself is subtle- yet noticeable.
In the photo below I can see a blue tint- I notice that a lot, looking at the stone in person.
The cut is really quite unique. GIA calls it "Cut Cornered Square Mixed Cut"...huh? Well. here's the explanation: If you look at the photo below, you can see that the top of the diamond is a Step Cut design- while the bottom, or Pavilions, of the diamond, are brilliant Faceted, like a Radiant..
AS if as all that did not make this diamond unique enough, it's also classified as a "Chameleon" by GIA. You can see a lot of color variation in these photos- but that has more to do with the way the light is hitting the diamond.. It's a lovely stone. Very lively.
