Here is a diamond graded by the EGL- that in itself does not make it a "bad diamond. It calls the grade into question, nothing more, nothing less. As usual, I disagree with EGL. The stone is nice and white- but I see it as an H. The stone is eye clean, but based on the small feathers I can make out with the loupe, I must say Si1. We bought the ring complete from a trusted vendor-so I have to grade the stone in the setting. Having said all this, its a lovely stone, and ring. Beautiful micro pave work- shaped prongs. Beautifully cut tiny round diamonds used in the pave. 18kt white gold Diamond Ring. The ring is a very nice quality- it's not made in our "Uber shop"- but it still features lovely shaped prongs (claws) In terms of construction, it's made from extruded wire, just like the top of the line rings- and that's really the best method if you're looking for this type of pave style. The shank is 2mm thick The halo measures 8.5mm square across the top. Guides related to Diamonds How much will my new diamond appraise for?
