3.85ct U-V, Natural Light Yellow SI2 Radiant Cut DiamondIt is getting more and more difficult to find stones in this range. As the price of Fancy Light Yellow has skyrocketed - and worldwide demand for Fancy Colored Diamonds has soared - the lighter yellow stones have followed suit. In fact, it is easier for us to purchase Fancy Light Yellow Diamonds, as opposed to stones in this range. However, a FLY in this size is about $15k more - and that is only one reason we love stones like this. Another is the color - it is such a lovely soft lemon yellow. In this particular case, there is so much more to love. 1) The cut: It is nothing short of amazing. The stone is perfectly "laid out." It has the size of many 5 carat radiant cuts. Also it does this with a remarkable consistent edge to edge sparkle. It's rare to see VG/VG on a Radiant Cut- this stone is truly exceptional in terms of cut. 2) The weight: 3.86ct - that makes this stone even more rare. In general, cutters can "give the diamond a bigger butt" and retain that .15ct. That is why you see s many 4.00-4.02ct stones and so few 3.90ct ones. 3) Clarity: Although the stone is SI2, it is totally eye clean. We publish ultra close up photos and video so you can see for yourself. We never allow our buyers to get "surprised" when they open the box. If a stone we're offering has imperfections you can see, you will hear it from us first. The clarity also allowed us ( and you) to save more money on the purchase. The Ring One of the cutters we buy from was in the office as I unwrapped this ring- he was sure it was Fancy Light Yellow - his jaw dropped when I told him it was a U-V. If you think about it - a 5ct Fancy Light Yellow ring is going to be at least double the price of this amazing piece. A tremendous value here - we can not find stones like this frequently enough.
