.90ct Fancy Yellow SI2 Oval Shape Diamond RingHere's a gorgeous Fancy Yellow oval- with a strong color. It's close to Intense Yellow. We got an amazng price for a number of reasons. First of all, it's .90ct. Looks like a one carat, but you save about 20% over the cost of a comparable 1.00ct diamond. On top of that, the imperfection contained within is.... gasp... black carbon?!? It's a very misunderstood aspect of grading. For example, when it comes to imperfections, I'm not prejudiced. A black imperfection is not necessarily "worse" than a white one.In fact sometimes a diamond can hide a black carbon spot easier than a white one. That is the case here. It's a totally eye clean SI2 diamond. The Ring The ring is 18kt, white and yellow gold, fully hand forged. All of our rings are custom made which is why the diamond sits in the halo, instead of on top of it. Since we make them, we can adjust them with no evidence that the ring has been touched. Same for if it needs repair - we take care of them long term. The stone looks truly amazing in this hand forged setting. An oval shape is on of the most natural to surround with a halo. It looks great close up, or at arm's length. The guys have done an amazing job of producing a ring that shows diamonds more than metal.
