I love well cut diamonds. Put another way, I've developed a keen appreciation for the manner in which a diamond is polished.
When it comes to round diamonds, it's relatively formulaic.
Round is round, so not much variation there, but the angles and arrangement of the facets have been agreed upon for a long time.
Interestingly, when I was first taught how to evaluate the cut of a diamond, the standards were a bit different.
There were high powered magnification devices, but the the agreed upon "best cut" was arrived at visually.
The images taken using the ASET camera, provide a different perspective on how the diamond reflects light to the eye.
This stone is very close to a "Super Ideal"
The advantage to this cut is about price.
Going the last 2% to get to GCAL8x pretty much doubles the price.
We offer GCAL alternatives as well, for those who would prefer.
We also give very special prices on our incredibly well made line of rings, and other jewelry.
