It's simply amazing, the value these light yellow diamonds represent. If you choose a well cut diamond, a W-X, like this one, is glorious. Is it dark yellow? No, not at all- it's a lovely light lemon yellow color. Set properly, it looks amazing.

Why? Well, look at how it's cut- tremendous sparkle- and a 63.1% depth. That means it really might look like a 2 carat to many folks.

Still, why should we prefer an imperfect diamond?

The answer is price.

We love being able to offer a diamond that looks quite like a lot more than it cost.

Yes, the 1.76 carat W-X has an imperfection, but it's really innocuous. Hard to see without the aid of a loupe.

These photos are taken pretty close- and show imperfections pretty well- I can't see the feather in the photos. It really nestles in there.

I love love these tapered bullet step cut sides- they make the ring!

This is a trade up special.

It was purchased by a very satisfied client of ours back in March 2007. She has since taken advantage of our trade up policy, so the ring is here, available to you now.

In cases where a person has worn a ring heavily, that portion of their purchase would not be eligible for the trade up- only the diamonds, which represent the bulk of value anyway. In cases like that we can remove the diamonds, scrap the ring, and start again.

In many cases people have taken excellent care of the ring. If there's minimal wear, it's easy for us, the manufacturer, to refurbish the ring so that's it's identical to a new one. Which is what we've done here.
